I have decided that the best way to proceed is to get the Tourism students to use a weblog to record the work they do using the materials. This way, everything is transparent, boith to the teachers and to the other students, - it is easy to see who is doing the work and who isn't, and guidance can be given to the students who need it, etc...

I am going to set up a Tutor Blog and use this to make comments and direct students to the other blogs.

What this needs is an initial session in a computer room to set up the blogs, and then periodic sessions later to help students get the hang of tasks and using the weblog. Eventually, this requirement will not be necessary as students become more independent as learners..
  Idea for website Activity:

Unit 1 - Types of holiday

Ask students to choose a type of holiday and go to Google and then find information (they have been asked to plan a holiday for a group of tourists). give them free-range. they use the web...and fill-in information in the page..
